The Eco-Products EP-SB24 24 oz. compostable plastic salad bowl with lid stores and displays salads and other cold foods, is suitable for use in the refrigerator and deli case (but not microwave), has a clear plastic lid that seals to reduce leaks, and is made with clear PLA, which resists liquids and oils. PLA (polylactic acid) is made from corn, a renewable resource. This product meets the D6400 and D6868 standards of ASTM International, formerly known as the American Society for Testing and Materials, for being compostable in municipal and industrial composting facilities.
